Designed to improve the workflow of teaching microscopes
Designed for students, CX23 microscopes are not only robust, but also reliable. Due to the following design features, it can be easily carried to the classroom:
Less space
Light weight
Ergonomically designed non-slip handle
Its safety features are designed to ensure that the eyepiece, viewing cylinder, objective lens and stage are not damaged during transportation or during long-term repeated use.
Excellent optical performance
Uniform LED lighting with a stable color temperature produces realistic colors for a wide range of samples. From an economic point of view, LED lights also have the advantages of a long life of 20,000 hours and low power consumption.
The CX23 microscope also has a large field of view (FN) of up to 20, providing a wider field of view. Its specially designed flat-field achromatic objective ensures a flat image across the entire field of view.
Easy to carry
The CX23 microscope is one of the lightest Olympus microscopes in its class, weighing about 5.9 kg (13.01 lb). The non-slip handle and V-shaped handle design allow users to carry the microscope comfortably and securely. The viewing tube and eyepiece can be fixed to the microscope to avoid damage or loss when moving.
Observation comfort
The CX23 microscope is designed for comfortable microscopic observation. The user can easily adjust the pupil distance and eye point height according to their comfort, and can also adjust the left and right diopter to get the right focus for each eye. When in use, the locking pin holds the viewing tube in place.
Comfortable specimen handling
The user-friendly design features of the CX23 microscope make specimen placement and related Settings easier to adjust:
The inward-facing rotating objective converter makes stage operation easier, allowing for quick sample changes and easy oil addition as needed
A long working distance flat field achromatic objective allows for better clearance between thicker samples and slides
The coaxial knob, which can be easily operated from either side of the microscope, enables quick focal length fine-tuning or coarse adjustment
Avoid microscope/specimen damage
To avoid damage to the microscope and specimen, the CX23 also features a damage-proof design:
The focus limit lock prevents the objective lens from damaging the sample.
The torque release function prevents excessive force on the coarse focus knob and stage knob.
Convenient storage
The following practical features make CX23 microscopes easier to store and store:
A storage bin on the back of the microscope can be used to store power cables and AC adapters
Built-in security keyholes for attaching anti-theft cables
Improve your training with digital cameras
Use a digital camera to share the images you see on the CX23 microscope in the classroom or with an audience. The digital camera mounted on the CX23 triocular can easily capture and record images.
Kohler lighting basic training
CX23 microscopes can be equipped with a field of view diaphragm (CX23-FS). The CX23 enables users to use and demonstrate Kohler lighting to support basic training in microscopy.
Antifungal treatment
When used in hot, humid environments, microscopes are vulnerable to mold and other fungi. For this reason, the CX23 microscope's objective lens, eyepiece and viewing tube are treated with antifungal treatment to help ensure better use and durability.
Head-up display for easy collaboration
Easily share and display images in the classroom using the LAN-enabled wireless EP50 digital camera. Combine this camera with our CX series student microscopes to transform a normal classroom into a digital classroom. For group users, the head-up display system allows easy viewing. Everyone can see the specimen they are looking at in real time, without having to take turns looking through the eyepiece.
